EVERY PARISH...

...within reasonable travelling distance of London will shortly be recieving news of the 2012 TOWARDS ADVENT Festival. We ask all parish priests to put it in the newsletter, announce it from the pulpit, etc.

Marcus Grodi of the Coming Home Network is a special guest speaker: he'll be making some new programmes while in Britain and will be spending the day with us at TOWARDS ADVENT.

You can also find out about: the FAITH Movement, the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham, the Catenians, The Music Makers, Aid to the Church in Need, and groups involved with work ranging from caring for blind children in India to fostering good liturgy here at home.

Come and celebrate the Catholic Faith...come and meet lots of other Catholics, find out about the wide range good things the Church is doing here and now, add your support where it is needed in all sorts of good causes, affirm your commitment to the message of the Church and to the New Evangelisation of our country....

WILL THIS FESTIVAL BE THE BEST YET?

The 2012 Towards Advent Festival will be opened by Archbishop Vincent Nicholls at 10.30am on Saturday November 24th in Westminster Cathedral Hall, Ambrosden Avenue, London SWI.

Ther will be music from the choir of St Benedict's School, Ealing, and as usual the hall will be packed with stalls and displays from a wide range of Catholic groups and organisations.

For the  first time there will be a stall run by the Friends of the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham.  Linked to this in theme will be a special workshop celebrating the anniversary of Blessed John Henry Newman's "Second Spring" sermon. And there will be a guest appearance by Marcus Grodi,well known on EWTN the international Catholic TV network based in the USA.

Admission to the Festival is FREE, doors open 10am. Come and browse the stalls. Books, DVDs, craft goods, rosaries, statues, items for Advent and Christmas, and much, much more...come and meet friends, hear inspiring music, and celebrate the Year of Faith!
